In the Diplom porgrams Mechanical Engineering and Physical Engineering general electives (called Studium-Generale-Fächer) are required. Bachelor oder Master students can voluntarily attend these courses.

All Students may select general electives which are tailored to their individual course of study and department.  Admission to electives is limited, and an electronic lottery system selects which students are admitted.
