DESCRIPTION:Lecture on the occasion of the anniversary event of the Working Group No Sexual Violence \nViolence against women is one of the most pressing problems of our time and has become even more acute in recent years.\nProf. Dr. Christiane Alberternst describes how much more our society needs to do so that women can live free of violence.    \nThe Arbeitskreis keine sexuelle Gewalt (working group against sexual violence) has shared responsibility for this issue for 30 years.\nThis commitment is to be honored and you are cordially invited.    \nLook forward to Laura Mann\, who will accompany the evening with strong tones.\nHer songs showcase the courage\, strength and passion of all women.  \nSpeaker: Professor Dr. Christiane Alberternst\, Women’s Representative at Coburg University of Applied Sciences Admission is free.\nRegistration: susanne.mueller@coburg.de  Physical or sexual violence is an everyday experience for women in many places.\nOn November 25th\, the United Nations draws attention to this abuse worldwide with the “Orange Day – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”.\nUnfortunately\, sexual harassment and violence take place everywhere in society\, including at universities\, and also at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.\nWe want to bring the topic out of the taboo zone and raise awareness of how we can help ourselves and others.\nFrom 21.11.\nto 6.12.\nthere will be a varied program (free of charge) about boundaries and empowerment.\nJoin us in taking a stand against violence against women!
