DESCRIPTION:Lecture on sexual harassment and violence   \n“Was that sexual harassment? Or should I tick it off under ‘stupid remark’?\nOr should it even be a compliment?”  \nSexual harassment and violence are unfortunately everyday phenomena that many female students experience.\nThey are often very unsettling and those affected do not know how to deal with them – or whether they may have understood it differently.\nOur expert Susanne Müller explains the red flags and shows what people can do if they experience sexualized harassment and violence – whether as victims or witnesses.   \nSpeaker: Susanne Müller\, Equal Opportunities Officer for the City of Coburg\, Coburg No Sexual Violence Working Group Target group: Anyone who would like to raise awareness of the issue Register at frauenbeauftragte@hs-coburg.de\, keyword “No” Physical or sexual violence is an everyday experience for women in many places.\nOn November 25\, the United Nations draws global attention to this issue with the “Orange Day – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”.\nUnfortunately\, sexual harassment and violence take place everywhere in society\, including at universities\, and also at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.\nWe want to bring the topic out of the taboo zone and raise awareness of how we can help ourselves and others.\nFrom 21.11.\nto 6.12.\nthere will be a varied program (free of charge) about boundaries and empowerment.\nJoin us in setting an example against violence against women!
