Solidarität mit Israel / We stand with Israel
Die Hochschule Coburg fühlt mit den Opfern und ihren Familien, verurteilt Terrorismus und steht gemeinsam mit der Kultusministerkonferenz und dem DAAD solidarisch an der Seite Israels.
Die Gewalt in Israel erschüttert die Hochschule Coburg. Wir verurteilen entschieden die terroristischen Angriffe von Hamas und Hisbollah auf die israelische Bevölkerung und den Staat Israel. An unserer Hochschule gibt es keinen Raum für die Rechtfertigung von terroristischen Aktivitäten, keinen Platz für Antisemitismus und Israel-Hass. Wir stehen für Toleranz, Vielfalt und Menschlichkeit.
In Gedanken sind wir bei unseren Freund:innen in Israel, bei den Studierenden, Lehrenden und Forschenden unserer Partnerhochschulen, dem Shenkar College in Tel Aviv und der Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Unsere Anteilnahme und unser aufrichtiges Mitgefühl gelten allen, die unter dem Terror leiden: den Opfern und ihren Angehörigen, dem gesamten israelischen Volk.
Gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst DAAD sehen wir als Handlungsmaxime die besondere Beziehung zu Israel und unsere geschichtliche Verantwortung. Wir stehen fest an der Seite Israels und schließen uns der Stellungnahme der Kultusministerkonferenz an: Die terroristischen Gewaltakte sehen wir auch als Angriff auf die gelebten Werte von Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen als weltoffene Institutionen.

SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL
Coburg University feels for the victims and their families, condemns terrorism and, together with the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs and the DAAD, stands in solidarity with Israel.
The violence in the Middle East appalls Coburg University. We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah on the Israeli population and the state of Israel. At our university there is no room for the justification of terrorist activities, no place for anti-Semitism and hatred towards Israel. We stand for tolerance, diversity and humanity.
Our thoughts are with our friends in Israel, with the students, teachers and researchers of our partner universities, Shenkar College in Tel Aviv and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Our sympathy and sincere condolences go out to all those who suffered from the terror: the victims and their families, the entire Israeli people.
Together with the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, we see our special relationship with Israel and our historical responsibility as the maxim for action. We stand firmly by Israel's side and endorse the statement of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs: We also see the terrorist acts of violence as an attack on the core values of universities and research institutions as open-minded institutions.
