Library services
The library at Coburg University of Applied Sciences provides members of the university with literature and information. However, it is also open to interested members of the public for academic purposes and professional development. In the library, more than 90,000 media can be used in the reading room or ordered from the stacks. In addition, around 340 journals are accessible. The current volumes are available in the reading room, the older volumes in the magazine stacks. The library also offers access to numerous electronic media, such as various databases (TEMA WTI Frankfurt, WISO), e-journals and e-books. It is also the official distribution point for DIN standards.

The University Library team will be happy to inform you about the available media, databases and e-books. You will receive support with online research and an introduction to the wide range of media on offer.
Online library catalog
Students use the WebOPAC online catalog to search the library holdings of Coburg University of Applied Sciences.
Locations
The Central Library is located on the Friedrich Streib Campus. There is a partial library at the Campus Design. Books can be ordered, reserved, picked up and returned via the library catalog at both locations.

Library use
User regulations
The basis for the use of the Coburg University Library is the General User Regulations of the Bavarian State Libraries (ABOB).
Access to the university library
As a public academic institution, the university library is open to all interested parties.
Guests aged 16 and over who are resident in Germany receive a library card on presentation of a valid identity card or passport. Use of the library is free of charge.
