Events for prospective students
Taster days at Coburg University of Applied Sciences
Every year during the Bavarian Easter vacations, we offer detailed information on our Bachelor’s degree programs, taster lectures and the opportunity to get to know the campus. A virtual taster is also possible. You can find more information about our program and dates here.
Coburg Study Fair
High school graduation—and then what? If you’re asking yourself that question, the next Coburg College Fair in October is the place for you: Organized jointly by Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Bamberg-Coburg Employment Agency, the fair offers prospective students a wide range of opportunities to learn more: Professionals will give presentations providing concrete examples of career paths available in various fields of study; Information booths from universities and colleges in Bavaria and neighboring states, as well as from regional and national companies, offer the opportunity to learn more about degree programs and dual study options and to make direct contact.

Retrospective Exhibition
Every year, anyone interested in the Faculty of Design’s degree programs has the opportunity to see works and projects by students and get to know the faculty through public courses, workshops, lectures, guided tours of the buildings and much more. Further information and dates here.
MUT
Girls and Technology – MUT is a joint program of the Upper Franconian universities that informs schoolgirls about the possibilities of technical and scientific courses of study in regular events. More information about the MUT program can be found here.

If you’re already a student at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, we can help you with:
- Problems with Course Design
- Doubts about the choice of major
- Changing Majors or Universities
- Financial aid and scholarships (e.g., Deutschlandstipendium)
- Further life planning, such as finding suitable master’s programs
- Any other questions or problems for which there is no known point of contact.
In cooperation with the Employment Agency, we also offer career counseling and events for students:
- Personalized Application Portfolio Review
- Presentations and workshops, e.g., on job applications, job interviews, assessment centers, and careers in academia

We are usually available at the office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can also schedule an appointment with us—in person, by phone, or online—and, upon request, later in the afternoon as well.
