Co-op Program: Theory and Practice Go Hand in Hand

In a cooperative degree program, young people combine their studies with professional work. As an employer, you benefit in several ways: The students are performance-oriented, determined, and highly motivated. Even while they’re still in school, they take on responsibilities and lead their own projects within the company. Graduates have at least twice as much practical and corporate experience as traditional students. This eliminates the need for lengthy onboarding periods, time-consuming trainee programs, and recruitment costs. There are various models available for this, and we’d be happy to provide you with more detailed information.

Connections – The Job and Career Fair

If you are looking for talented young professionals or want to give students a glimpse into your company while they are still in school (e.g., through internships), Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts offers two popular options.

Once a year, Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts hosts its popular job and career fair, “Connections.” Take advantage of this opportunity to introduce your company to our students. Network with them, present your career paths, offer a behind-the-scenes look at your organization, and inspire young people.

In addition, some degree programs offer special career fairs for their students. For example, the School of Social Work and Health organizes the annual Social Work Career Fair, while the School of Applied Natural Sciences organizes the Bioanalytics Academic and Career Symposium.

Through the job board of Bavaria’s universities of applied sciences, registered companies can reach up to 100,000 young people. You can even post opportunities for thesis projects, internships abroad, and doctoral programs free of charge. You decide for yourself whether you want to reach only students at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts or students throughout Bavaria.

Germany Scholarship: Inspire Talented Individuals to Join Your Organization Early On

Is supporting young people important to you? The Germany Scholarship offers you the opportunity to provide financial support to particularly dedicated students while also building valuable connections with the professionals of tomorrow. The scholarship amounts to 300 EUR per month and is awarded for a period of one year. What makes this special is that the Federal Ministry of Education and Research covers half of the costs. Your investment in the future amounts to just 1,800 EUR per year.

When selecting scholarship recipients, we consider excellent academic performance in school or college, social and community involvement, personal and family circumstances, as well as notable achievements and practical experience. Through your participation, you have the opportunity to support a student in your preferred field of study for one year. The connections made through the Germany Scholarship often lead to part-time jobs, thesis projects, or even a career start. Through your sponsorship, you can generate interest in your organization and have the chance to inspire the sponsored student to join your company in the long term. As a token of our appreciation, we will display your logo on the “Sponsors’ Wall” at our university.
