More Information

Innovation topics

The inAdditiv transfer project aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on their way to sustainable, energy-efficient and digitalized production. The focus is on developing and testing innovative digitalization and automation solutions that automate complex, product-specific processing steps and intelligently monitor energy-intensive processes using sensor- and AI-based systems.

State-of-the-art technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins, manufacturing execution systems (MES), sensor technology and autonomous robotics are used. These are brought together in a practical demonstrator for additive manufacturing, which serves as a showcase for technology transfer and allows SMEs to experience the potential of these technologies first-hand.
