Laboratory for Business Information Systems
Brief description
The laboratory for business information systems offers students the opportunity to get to know modern business information systems in a practical way and to apply them themselves. In a realistic laboratory environment, central operational processes can be simulated, analyzed and experienced live using model companies.
Operational processes such as procurement processes (e.g. from the ordering process to goods receipt) and sales processes (e.g. quotation preparation, order processing and invoicing) are mapped, as are analytical processes such as multidimensional data analyses, key figure evaluations or statistical data analyses to support decision-making. In this way, theoretical content from business administration is clearly linked with digital systems and deepened in a practical way.
