Dates for the start of the winter semester 25/26
When do I start? When do I have to be where? To make sure you don’t miss anything and get your studies at Coburg University of Applied Sciences off to the best possible start, we have compiled all the important dates for your degree program here.
Official semester opening and course introductions
We would like to officially welcome you on October 1, 2025 and start the new semester with you! You will also get to know your fellow students and your lecturers. You will also receive your timetable by now at the latest.
Please note that – with the exception of the degree programs of the Faculty of Design – all degree programs meet at the Friedrich Streib Campus!
8:15 a.m. in the Brose auditorium: Official opening of the semester |
Welcome by the university management, the mayor of the city of Coburg and the student representatives with musical accompaniment by the combo of the university big band Afterwards: Get to know each other at “study program tables” with snacks and drinks in the pillared hall and in the city foyers – look out for the sign with your study program! |
From 9:15 a.m. | Introductions to the degree programs with “pick-up service” from the Säulenhalle or the city foyers |
9:00 a.m. in the Audimax (D1-009 ): Official opening of the semester |
