About me

Prof. Dr. Janosch Hildebrand deals with questions of ageing research, multi-omics analysis, single cell analysis, bioinformatics and molecular cell biology. The aim of his work is to investigate the molecular mechanisms of cell and tissue ageing and to develop methods for rejuvenation. Gene expression, proteome and metabolome analysis are combined to identify therapeutically relevant cellular processes and target molecules. The combination of bioinformatics and biological knowledge plays a central role here. In addition, assay systems for phenotypic screening using high-content imaging are developed and RT-DC technology is used for single-cell analysis. Prof. Dr. Hildebrand is a member of the One Health research focus at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.
