Pupils conduct research in Coburg

The StudentResearch Center offers students theopportunity to gain expertise in the fields of computer science, natural sciences, materials science, and engineering.

To this end, the universities of Bamberg and Bayreuth, as well as the Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Hof University of Applied Sciences, regularly host workshops, seminars, and project weeks, each organized independently.

The students receive professional guidance and support from scientists. They gain insight into current research projects at the four universities in Upper Franconia and have the opportunity to apply, expand upon, and deepen the knowledge they have acquired in school in the STEM subjects.

The Student Research Center is a project under the Technology Alliance of Upper Franconia (TAO). The four universities and colleges in Upper Franconia—Bamberg, Bayreuth, Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and Hof—collaborate on this initiative.

Programs Offered by Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Angeboten werden wechselnde interessante Workshops wie zum Beispiel „Wie erschafft man künstliche Intelligenz“, „Wasserstoff – Der Energieträger der Zukunf“, „CSI Umwelt – Mit der Grüne Leber gegen Wasserverschmutzung“ oder auch das Helpdesk Jugend Forscht: Technik, Chemie und Biologie. MUT – Girls and technology

Under the motto MUT – Girls and Technology, there are always various activities for technology-loving schoolgirls during the vacations. You can find the Girls and Technology activities here.
