Architecture CAD Lab
Brief description
The CAD Lab of the School of Design At Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, it serves as a central workspace and learning environment for digital design and communication processes in architecture. With 14 iMacs, 13 Wacom tablets, and projectors, it offers a state-of-the-art infrastructure for practice-oriented teaching; all workstations are equipped with standard architecture software solutions. The program is firmly integrated into the architecture curriculum. It includes introductory and advanced courses in Concept and Communication (KOKO), as well as follow-up courses on mapping, image editing, layout, illustration, narration, and 3D modeling—all the way through to portfolio development. Interdisciplinary elective courses with a focus on digital and graphic design round out the offerings. In addition, the lab provides workstations for students with limited resources as needed—including those from other disciplines.
Location: The Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology is located in Room D1-107, Building D1 on the Design Campus.
