Geotechnical Laboratory
Brief description
The Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory is used to determine soil mechanical and soil physical parameters for geostatic calculations and issues related to earthworks and foundation engineering. Tests related to site investigations for the evaluation of building foundations can be conducted here. Equipment for quality control in earthworks (e.g., compaction verification) is available. In addition, tests on soil treatment with binding agents are conducted in the Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory.
Location: The Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory is located in Room U22 in Building D1 on the Design Campus.
