The DESIGNPILOT® Masterclass teaches innovation skills at the master’s level (DQR Level 7) and equips participants to professionally plan, facilitate, and leverage innovation processes for business success.
Course content
The DESIGNPILOT® Masterclass follows a structured innovation process and combines design, strategy, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking. The goal is to understand and apply innovation as a distinct professional skill and as a business model.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:
- professionally plan and facilitate innovation processes,
- take responsibility for complex innovation projects,

- build their own innovation business,
- lead interdisciplinary teams through innovation processes,
- independently develop and validate innovations.
Admission Requirements and Examination
Admission is open to individuals who have:
- a college degree in the field of design, or
- an equivalent college degree with relevant professional experience, or
- demonstrated professional aptitude and at least two years of relevant professional experience in the field of design.
The admissions committee decides on admission.
The examination consists of a practical course project with a presentation. Students develop a validated innovation concept with an implementation plan.
