Imagine an evening
where science comes alive – and curiosity is palpable.

What you can expect:

  • Science to marvel at, touch and participate in: Experimental lectures, illustrative short presentations and interactive hands-on stations bring research to life and make it understandable – for children, young people and adults.

  • Stamp campaign: There are stamps to collect for anyone who wants to go on a little discovery tour – ideal for children and young people. The stations will be marked in the program overview shortly. With at least 8 stamps collected, a certificate for explorers and a small gift (while stocks last) await you at the Infopoint.

  • Bus shuttle: A free shuttle bus marked Hochschul-Shuttle – Coburg's smartest night connects the campuses and central stops in Coburg.

  • Topics that shape our everyday lives: Discover how technology, science, health, mobility, the environment, energy and artificial intelligence influence our world

  • Insights behind the scenes at the university: explore laboratories and workshops, enter otherwise closed areas and talk to professors and researchers.

  • An evening for the whole family: exhibitions, live experiments and short presentations as well as music, good food and little surprises make Coburg's smartest night an exciting and cozy experience.
