IT Center

As the university's central IT service provider, the IT Center performs the following tasks:

• Planning, expansion and operation of the university's entire network infrastructure, the associated network services and connection of external locations
• Design, provision and operation of central servers and services for administration and teaching
• Design, provision and operation of security structures in the university's networks and IT systems
• Development and operation of a campus life cycle management system for the Primuss network – in cooperation with TH Ingolstadt
• Provision of an IT service (user helpdesk) as a central point of contact for IT issues for employees and students of the university
• Information, advice and training on the ITZ service portfolio and user-oriented further development of service processes
• Procurement of hardware and software, license management and cross-university IT network activities

The IT Service is the first point of contact for students, staff and lecturers with questions and problems relating to the university's IT services.
